About Us
The University of Jaffna Alumni Association UK (UOJAAUK) is dedicated in supporting philanthropy and social responsibility by providing small grants to assist underprivileged individuals, schools, and communities through its alumni network.
Our Goals

Enhance Philanthropy and Social Responsibility
- Provide grants and necessary materials such as books and stationery to assist underprivileged students.
- Allocate small grants to our alma mater to support student-centered initiatives (supporting students with special needs).
- Organise fundraising events to generate funds for grants and students’ physical and mental wellbeing project support.
- Motivate alumni subject matter experts to contribute their knowledge by delivering guest lectures and mentoring students.

Drive Socio-Economic Impact
- Launch or contribute to projects aimed at enhancing student social welfare in Sri Lanka.
- Support programs that prioritise the physical and mental health of students in both Sri Lanka and the UK.

Support Our Alma Mater – The University of Jaffna, Sri Lanka
- Participate in guest lectures and workshops to aid the development of UoJ students
- Help enhance university infrastructure to improve accessibility for students with special needs.
- Collaborate with the university to enhance academic programs.

- Motivate alumni to engage in community service and volunteer initiatives.
- Support integration, inclusivity, diversity, and social unity among alumni and the broader community.
